Joby announces comfortable camera strap

Joby, developer of the Gorillapod line of flexible tripods, has announced a new camera strap, the UltraFit Sling Strap.

The new UltraFit Sling Strap is a ‘quick-draw’ style strap that combines body-conforming ergonomic comfort and hands-free stability. It has been designed to accommodate both CSC (compact system camera) and DSLR cameras.

The patent-pending design is available in separate versions designed for men and women and is built with Joby’s ‘UltraFit Layered- Pad Technology’ evenly distributing the weight of the camera without the bulk of thick padding, to provide long wearing comfort with soft-touch materials.

A pivot ring and pressure-relieving foam pad allow the strap to conform to the shoulder and torso of the body and evenly distribute the weight of the camera for long-wearing comfort.

The integrated SpeedCinch system provides hands- free stability by securing the camera close to the body for extra mobility and camera protection when shooting on the go and in crowded environments. The strap length is automatically extended so the photographer can bring the camera to eye level in one fluid and fast motion.

 Key Features
• Ergonomic design, with separate models for men and women. The UltraFit Layered-Pad Technology and ergonomically placed pivot ring allow the strap to conform to the body for ultimate comfort;
• Camera stability – secure the camera close to the body with the SpeedCinch system to free up your hands and prevent potential camera damage;
• Shooting speed – In one fluid motion, the strap extends so that your camera glides up from your side to shooting position in seconds;
• Approachable style – Sleek design and high-tech, neutral-coloured materials provide a versatile style that is perfect for any occasion.

The Joby Ultrafit Sling Strap will be available from distributor Maxwell International in late November, with both the male and female versions at an RRP of $54.95.
