Adeal beefs up board

Leading photographic products distributor, Adeal Pty Ltd, has announced changes to its senior management structure.

Following the appointment of Sieglind DʼArcy as CEO in 2008 and her acquisition of the company in November 2010, the focus has been to ‘build the best team that will ensure Adeal remains an essential and valuable business partner to the retailer, delivering quality products and exceptional service’.

To strengthen the board, independent businessman Keith Millar has been invited to become a non-executive director, because of his broad commercial experience in sales, marketing, public relations and management training.

Keith Millar is currently principal and founder of LMA-Millar, (Leadership Management Australia) which provides leadership training and development to more than 100 clients across all industries and government.

‘I am thrilled and honoured to be invited to join Adeal, a company for which I have great respect, particularly for their leadership and for the manner in which they do business,’ said Mr Millar.

Adeal's brand manager, Gary Pertot, joins the board.

Gary Pertot, brand manager at Adeal, has been invited to join the board as an executive director to add the perspective of product management and suppliers to the customer focus delivered via fellow board members Mark Cummins (manager of national accounts and buying groups) and Glenn Ward (manager of the sales team and major accounts).

‘Our aim,’ said Ms Darcy, ‘is to continue our long tradition of being business partners to our customers and suppliers, and work with them to turn the challenges of change in the current world economic climate into success stories for us all.’
