March 25, 2010: A photographic industry review get-togetherwill be held in Sydney next Tuesday.
Venue is North Ryde RSL, with a starting time of 6.30pm. This will be the only open industry meeting in NSW prior to the PMA show in June.
PMA says this is a social networking function, so formalities will be kept to a minimum while the event will provide an opportunity to review industry activities and renew old friends.
During the course of this meeting, PMA says it would ‘like to discuss the issues that currently concern your business.’
‘This is a challenging time for all in this industry and it is worthwhile to gather ideas from each other on strategies to get ahead of the competition,’ said PMA NSW TVP, John Ralph.
‘Please make the effort to attend. Also bring your partner or staff member, or invite another industry member to enjoy the evening. Other industry members are most welcome to attend and it is only by opening up our functions in this way can we expect our various organisations to grow.’
The meeting will include reports from attendees at the PMA show at Anaheim and an update on our local PMA show in Melbourne in June.
Please contact Kathy Warlum at PMA (02 9454 2444) to register your interest. A dinner will be held at the RSL club after the meeting, at attendees’ expense.
