Fujifilm has announced a new Instax camera in square format, the Instax Square SQ6, which will be rolled out around the world from the end of May.
It has a double exposure mode allowing two photos to be overlapped on a single film when the shutter button is pressed twice; a macro mode for close-ups to a minimum of 30cm; and a landscape mode. There are three flash colour filters (orange/purple/green) for ‘a more unique and textured photo.’
Print size is 62mm x 62mm set in a frame of 86mm x 72mm.
The Instax Square SQ6 comes in three colour variations – pearl white, blush gold and graphite gray.
No local pricing as yet, tho’ it’s US$129.95 in the US. The ‘PhotoCounter guesstimate’ RRP is $219.95. Maybe $199.95.
