The latest and greatest publication in the Photo Review Pocket Guide series, Landscape Photography, will be available from this month in book and eBook form.

Landscape photography is consistently nominated as most popular among Photo Review magazine readers, and more broadly is a major photographic challenge – everyone wants to know how to take better landscape photos.

Photo retailers can order as few as 20 copies for just $12 a piece – for a high-margin new line or to bundle with camera or lens sales. All titles in the Pocket Guide series are available for sale by photo specialists.

There’s a particular focus on choosing and using using the right lens – critical to great landscape shots.

A full chapter has been devoted to cityscapes, in acknowledgement that most of us live in or near a city. There’s also advice on working with the weather – you don’t need a bright sunny day for a before you can capture a cracking landscape.

Photo Review Australia’s expert, trusted technical editor, Margaret Brown is both author and photographer for Landscape Photography. The guide is printed in landscape format to better highlight the 50 sumptuous landscape, cityscape and seascape photographs featured through the 80-page, A5 book.

Margaret Brown has travelled extensively, camera in hand, over the years, including as a photographic guide on tours to exotic locations such as Antarctica, and Landscape Photography provides a showcase for the breadth of her skills. She has been writing on photography for more than 30 years and as well as being author of the Photo Review Pocket Guide series, she wrote the Choice Guide to Digital Photography.
