Further to our exclusive story in ProCounter on CR Kennedy’s innovative complimentary insurance for customers purchasing DJI drones, the program is now in place, with a dedicated website.
In our initial story we stated that insurance cover was pegged at $10K. That cover has been increased tenfold, to $100K. Cover is for third party personal and property damage, rather than for the drone itself.
This is an exclusive offer – and in all probability a world-first in drone marketing – and only available via CR Kennedy, giving local photo specialists an edge over channels supplied by other distributors .
Serial numbers must be registered to be activated on the website: https://insurancefordrones.com.au/
The insurance covers up to $100K for accidental injury or damage for 12 months. It is provided via insurance risk advisor Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), which has been in partnership with CR Kennedy since 1995. JLT is one of the world’s leading providers of insurance, reinsurance and employee benefits related advice, brokerage and associated services.
The complimentary insurance applies on these models only, and not the Mavic, Spark or Phantom 3:
