Canon has announced June availability of a 25x zoom compact, the Powershot SX620 HS at a price of around around $449-479 (US MSRP is US$279/A$379).
The SX620 HS has a zoom range of 25-625mm, a 20.2-megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+ processor. Video is to Full HD resolution. Built-in Wi-Fi, Near Field Communication (NFC)…3-inch LCD monitor, 922,000 dots…Smart Auto mode includes scene recognition…range of effects and filters…available in red and black versions.
