Raleru (Camera House) has appointed Alan Campbell as an external director, joining David Stallard, Jon Paterson, Adam Walters and Ian Peterson on the Board of Raleru.
Alan Campbell has a solid background in finance and accountancy, having been a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1992.
He is managing director of Aldridge Capital, an advisory and investment business with clients in entertainment, construction, textiles, manufacturing, importing and distribution.
‘He brings to the Raleru Board a great knowledge in the finance area, strong financial disciplines and the ability to offer strong robust discussions at Board level,’ said Raleru chairman David Stallard. ‘We believe he will complement the strength of the existing Board Members.
‘It’s a challenging time in retail and we are confident that we can continue to improve the profitability of our retail stores,’ David told PhotoCounter. ‘Our marketing is getting better and better, both traditional and digital, and our new GM Charlie Davey is driving us in a very professional manner.
