SanDisk has launched a new line of SanDisk Extreme microSDHC cards for actioncam-toting extreme sports enthusiasts – although anyone who travels by air or ventures into cold climates could find them useful
The Extreme range has a UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) rating and offers up to 60MB/s read speed and up to 40MB/s write speed – fast enough to support recording of both Full HD and 4K Ultra HD action video clips. Users can quickly transfer files to computers for storage or to suitably-equipped smart devices for sharing.
They are available from this month in capacities of 32GB (RRP $49) and 64GB (RRP $99).
SanDisk also recently announced the 512GB SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I card, along with the SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-I range. These new offerings expand the company’s portfolio of 4K Ultra High Definition (3840x2160p) capable products. CR Kennedy & Co is the SanDisk supplier into the photo channel.
