Jeff is the only person from the supplier side of the photo industry to win the award.

The key criterion for the award, an ‘outstanding contribution to PMA on behalf of its members over a number of years’ defines Jeff Crowley’s contribution to PMA, and in particular the Victorian branch.

For many years Jeff with his PMA partner Richard Robertson worked and networked hard to keep Victorian PMA members engaged and active, with regular member get-togethers, golf days and an annual Christmas Party which outdid anything else on the industry calendar.

After Richard Robertson retired from the industry, Jeff would have been more than entitled to also bow out of PMA activities. Instead he has taken on the role of Victorian chairperson from Robbo, keeping the flame of industry unity alive.

‘Jeff has spent many years on the Victorian Committee and is unfailing in his support and attendance at PMA committee meetings, functions and shows,’ noted PMA Australia executive director, Peter Rose. ‘He is the driving force for the PMA Victorian Christmas parties and charity raffles and actively promotes PMA in Victoria, including promotion of the Young Achiever Award.’

Photo Counter adds its hearty congratulations to the long list of well-wishers who have noted how richly-deserved this acknowledgement is.
