Lifepics has released a free smartphone app for assembling a wedding album and other photo products from candid photos taken by attending friends and family.
According to research from LifePics, 55 percent of brides say they collect candid wedding photos from their guests and 53 percent create their own photo book through an online service.
LifePics retailers can offer the new app for free via iTunes Connect. A bridal couple can now simply download the app, set up their wedding event, share the app and code with their guests, and all the photos their guests take and share with the couple will be on your Lifepics site when they log-in.
LifePics has also created brochures, website banner ads, flyers and landing page graphics or images. For more information talk to your Photo Direct representative.
Photo Direct says that the new app will help retailers generate more business from bridal couple customers – prints, enlargements, their wedding photo book and perhaps even a canvas print or two. As newlyweds often buying five or more copies of their photo momentos as gifts, the average order from a wedding tends to be a healthy one!
