New backpack, pro tripod from Vanguard

CR Kennedy has announced a new professional grade tripod and camera bag from Vanguard.

v_bagThe Quovia 44 camera bag is designed to accommodate a professional DSLR with attached zoom lens plus additional lenses and other accessories. It features a large Quick Side Access zip plus facilities for carrying a tripod. This bag can convert from a backpack to a day pack with a separate compartment by simply rearranging customisable interior dividers. It can also be set up as a fast-acting sling bag by detaching and stowing one of its two shoulder straps in the pouch. The bag includes a compartment for tablet devices as well as a separate accessories pouch. A water-resistant base and a rain cover are included for protection against inclement weather. RRP is $199.

Vanguard_tripodThe ABEO Pro 283AGH is Vanguard’s most versatile tripod. Built from lightweight aluminium, it comes with the award-winning GH-300T pistol-grip ball head, which includes a built-in remote shutter release control. The ball head has two different operating modes: the first mode is for free tracking of moving subjects and the second is for precise panoramic photography in either landscape or portrait orientation.

Dual panning axes are supported, along with a 72-click-point panning base. The Multi-Angle Central Column system allows users to move the central column from 0 to 180-degree angles in variable vertical and horizontal positions for close-up and macro photography, and to allow shooting at unusual angles.

Quick-flip locking legs allow the central column to be pivoted through 360 degrees and the legs can be individually adjusted to 25, 50 and 80 degree angles when on uneven terrain or spread out flat for low angle photography. The feet are made from angled rubber, with spikes and a set of snow/sand shoes. RRP for the ABEO Pro 283AGH tripod is $499.
