PMA still has places available for its Future Leaders Program, which is touring Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this month.
Support from a range of sponsors – Fujifilm, Ted’s Cameras, CR Kennedy, APCI, Leading Edge, Paxtons, Michaels and The Friedman Group itself has enabled PMA to offer the full-day workshop for just $50 per attendee.
This represents unbelievable value. Sending one staff member to the Future Leaders Program effectively recoups PMA membership fees several times over!
The cost to send any employee to a similar program would be $450. Retail training specialists, The Friedman Group has customised the workshops especially for the industry, and the program has had overwhelmingly positive reviews from staff from photographic retail, wholesale and picture framing businesses who have attended in previous years.
They return to the workforce refreshed, full of ideas and motivated to go back to their jobs with renewed passion, and with targets to implement in their workplace.
‘I’ve been working on getting these workshops together since June, including signing up sponsors,’ said Barbara Bryan, Member Connections, PMA Australia.
‘I believe that the business owners need to invest in their business for it to grow. What better way than to train their potential leaders?
‘Thanks to our sponsors, the cost to the attendee just covers catering for the day. To me, it’s a simple decision…. you simply have to take up the opportunity on offer to PMA members. Why wouldn’t you?’
The workshop covers sales and communications strategies, leadership, key performance indicators and much more.
Even the meagre $50 investment in the development of staff is tax-deductible! As PMA asks, can employers seriously afford not to invest in the future of their business?
