Manfrotto has announced the new 055 Ball Head Series made from lightweight magnesium.
The new 055 ball heads are specially suited to 055 carbon fibre tripods for optimal lightweight support, though they are compatible with other 055 Series tripods as well.
The 0555 is an extremely precise ball head, providing extra smooth movements thanks to state of the art materials and technology.
Innovative features like the exclusive 90 – 100-degree portrait angle selector allows for a better camera control for advanced, precise settings.
The series has four models with different camera attachments – disk type, Q2, Q5, and RC4. The heads weigh around 1 kg and can carry a payload of 12kg. RRPs range from $345 to $395.
