New tripods, brackets and pan heads from Manfrotto

Adeal has announced more additions to the Manfrotto product line up in the shape of new 290 series tripods and new L-brackets and pan heads.

The four-section MT294A4 tripod (pictured right) is the larger tripod of the 290 family, combining performance with compact size. Large tubes and the new top casting made from high quality aluminium guarantee great rigidity and light weight.

The ergonomic controls are designed for improved operation and the anti-shock collar protects cameras from accidental impact. The aluminium disc has a 3/8-inch universal attachment to allow fitting of a large range of heads.

The MT293A4 is the most compact tripod in the 290 family, and is ideal for travel. Like the MT294A4, the anti-shock collar protects against accidental impact, whilst the 3-faced design column prevents rotation to allow for increased accuracy and steadiness.

RRPs range from $130 to $235.

The Manfrotto L bracket is an accessory designed for professional photographers who would like to change photo formats in an easy and fast way. Quickly flipping the camera from horizontal to vertical position, the Manfrotto L Bracket combines lightness with maximum support. The magnesium structure provides a sturdy solution in terms of stability and transportability for all types of equipment.

The L Bracket is adaptable to different models of camera body maintaining a high level of precision and ergonomics. Its available in quick release Q2, Q5, and RC4 fitments.

The MH057A5 pan head (pictured right) permits the photographer to take sequential constant-angle shots around a single axis with the camera either in portrait or landscape position, with the nodal point of the camera/lens in line with the centre of panoramic rotation. This ensures that parallax effects do not cause problems during image stitching. It is built around (and includes) the 300N panoramic unit, adding a system of sliding horizontal and vertical plates for accurate positioning of the camera nodal point. The plates have engraved index rules to make subsequent repositioning easier.

The included quick release elbow bracket lets the photographer use the portrait orientation of the camera gaining vertical field. The system is suitable for most 35mm SLR still and digital stills cameras using wide-angle or standard lenses.
