Garage Brands has announced a new take on the compact camera miniature tripod, the Tiltpod, ‘the world’s smallest, quick-connect magnetic “micro tripod”.’
The Tiltpod attaches to the wrist-strap of practically any compact camera or Flip-type camcorder, so it’s always ‘at the ready’, and functions just as well on uneven surfaces.
It’s ideal for group shots on self-timer, sharp long-exposure night shots and steady video recordings.
The grippy base material and magnetic 360-degree pivot allows you to position the camera on almost any surface – albeit rough, or on an incline. It has a robust stainless steel micro-positioning pivot providing a full range of movement and precise control.
The Tiltpod comes with camera wrist-strap, magnetic base, and two pivot points; one that screws into the tripod socket, and a second that adhesively sticks to the camera on those occasions when the tripod socket is located off centre.
The Tiltpod has an RRP of $19.95. Garage Brands has air-freighted a limited quantity in for Christmas sales.
