The 14-megapixel Samsung ST80 (pictured right) features in-built Wi-Fi, High Definition (HD) video recording in 720p format and a 3-inch LCD touch-screen. Images and video clips are easily uploaded to social networking sites such as Picasa, Facebook, YouTube or Photobucket by simply logging into a local network. They can also be emailed directly from the camera or streamed to DLNA-compatible devices. RRP is $349.

The 14-megapixel Samsung PL200 (RRP $249) features a 7x optical zoom lens, while maintaining a slim and compact design. Features include 720p HD video recording, dual image stabilisation and an easy-to-use menu. Also offering 14-megapixel resolution is the Samsung ES75 (RRP $149) with a 5x optical zoom lens that has a 27mm (equivalent) wide angle of view. Rubber-protected buttons and a scratch resistant cover for extra protection while travelling.

In this digital age, consumers are demanding products that help them easily connect and share, no matter where they are in the world,’ said Sagar Dave, Digital AV marketing manager, Samsung Electronics Australia. ‘Samsung’s new range of cameras offers practical, easy-to-use technology, so you no longer need to worry about the hassle of cables or confusing user manuals. With a simple Wi-Fi or USB connection, you’ll be able to share your memories in an instant.’
